During the Covid lockdown, we were exploring how to apply EightOS principles in the virtual space. In collaboration with NSDOS, we inhabited a VR world generated in Mozilla Hubs and used it as a site for experimenting with movement and sound.
Somerset House invited us to talk about our work in the frame of their program Mutant Promise. We had a very interesting conversation with the Block Universe director Louise O’Kelly where we talked about our approach, adapting in the times of lockdown, and how virtual reality can be used as a training ground for embodied practices.
